One of the new things this year is the Yellow Cab Shuttle Bus - doing a circuit in Downtown HBG - up second and down third - this is free if you have a wristband or a laminate. Good stuff. Another new MMC thing this year is the announcement of the DVS2002 - Digital Video Shorts Festival Doug Stoup, the producer of the Martini Bros. "Spinning on an Axis" video, among his credits, will be on hand to show that video as well as Digital Video from his expedition to Antarctica. Registration Forms will be available. A good number of the contributors to StarPolish.com are going to be panelists at the MMC. Perhaps you might want to read their work on StarPolish.com and ask them questions about it at the MMC. Looks like I'll be doing the web sites for The Zach Myers Band and The Julie Schreiber Band. Not sure about the details of that, or when they'd be going up, but I should mention that they're both playing the MMC. The Zach Myers Band is playing at Gullifty's Friday, February 16 at 9:00pm as part of the Garageband.com night. The Julie Schreiber Band is playing the Whitaker Center Saturday, February 17 at 11:00pm and Julie Schreiber is playing at The Gingerbread Man Downtown on Thursday, February 15 at 11:00pm.
