This newsletter might be the best source of email info for the band or club you signed up for. ---------------------------------- PA ROCKS INFORMATION http://parocks.com 1) Election's finally settled - whew. 2) Plenty of good stuff this New Year's Eve. 4 top level shows right close to Hbg. Badlees & more at the Whitaker Center. 2 or so blocks away at Market Street Square it's the Martini Bros (free all ages). Down Front St, to 83 South to the New Cumberland exit and you're at Gullifty's for Julian Fist (and the X - live), one more exit south on 83 and you're at the Roadway Inn (Formerly The Courtyard) for 6 bands including Stone Jug and Venus Envi. That show ends at 3am. Tons more good stuff all over the place, including Shakeys, Champions (Full Effect), Thoroughbreds, Fiddlestyx, and lots more. 3) Kudos to local radio for yesterday. Pete of the Badlees was live on the X. Pretty much simultaneously, Emily's ToyBox was live on WINK. I guess this was between 5:30 and 6:00 pm yesterday (Thursday). We love that local music on the radio. Also, thumbs up to local TV. WHTM-TV 27 had a great feature on Liz Hale. I hear that something else great with TV is in the works. The local papers are continuing to do a great job.
