this is matt again.  the boy who used to sing in dilton and is the music 
director at wixq.  a few weeks ago i emailed you about an mp3 that was 
available of one of my new songs "in the passenger's seat".  thank you to 
those of you who checked it out and who took the time to write me a note.  i 
sincerely appreciate it.  another song, "sleep sweet tonight" is now 
available.  i think this one, although the quality is not too good, is 
probably a better representation of what i'm doing.  the website to check out 
both of these songs is www.mp3.com/thegunshy.  there's a message board and 
guestbook on there now too...i just put them both up, so if you're willing to 
take a few minutes to write something that'd be awesome.  

i'm almost ready to play out.  i may have a show or two before august 29, but 
i'm pretty sure i'm going to be doing a short set at the show i'm doing at 
yip roc here in lancaster with ultimate fakebook and hot rod circuit.  both 
these bands are awesome, so i'm a little scared to be playing one of my first 
shows with them.  i'm just hoping it goes well.  even if you don't want to 
see me play, this is definitely gonna be a show worth seeing.  there's gonna 
be another band on the bill too, but since i just booked the show yesterday 
i'm not sure who it is yet.  if you have any suggestions or ideas for places 
to play please let me know.  i'm going to take it slow at first with shows 
until i get my feet wet, but eventually i'll be ready to play fairly often.  

in dilton news...well, there really isn't any.  3/5 the former (dave, 
anthony, and justin from dilton) don't have anything coming up as far as i 
know, but anthony said him and josh might be playing an acoustic set of their 
own stuff soon.  email anthony at weezergod@aol.com if you want to find out 
about that.

i'll let you go because this is getting pretty long and you probably have 
other things to do.  but if you're willing to take a few minutes and check 
out either of the two songs i have at www.mp3.com/thegunshy that'd be great.
